We are looking for a Senior Logistics coordinator in our Woodbridge ON office (Hybrid) with a minimum of 5 years experience in a transborder transportation role. You will be responsible for managing a select group of regular clients. This daily activity includes carrier selection, quoting, booking, tracking, problem solving, etc. as well as supporting other coordinators in ensuring clients’ receive the best service. This person will ideally have varied experience with FTL, LTL and Flatbed carriers.
You will have:
- At least 5 years experience in North American Transborder logistics at a broker or 3PL
- A varied LTL carrier base where you have excellent relationships
- Ability to negotiate
- Experience working as part of a team
- Excellent computer skills
- Fluency in English
- A passion for the transportation business
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Nice to have:
- Bilingual (French or Spanish) is an asset
- Some volunteer experience
- Industry specific courses
- Domestic Canada / Quebec shipment experience
